Bilene Maputo's nearest neighbour to the north is Gaza province, which you enter about 30km after Manhiça town. One of the most popular beach resorts is Bilene, 190km from Maputo, which is always busy on holiday weekends and is an ideal venue for conferences. To get to Bilene, turn right at the junction in Macia (approximately 160km from Maputo). After 30km of driving on a reasonably good road, you will reach the village and the lagoon, which you may cross by boat or if you have a 4WD vehicle, drive the long way round. TCHIN PAVILHÃO TÁMAR ZONGOENE LODGE 214km from Maputo is the turn for Zongoene Lodge, a luxury resort situated approximately 35km from the EN1 down a side road. The location, on the Limpopo river delta, is superb and guests have an extensive range of activities available including fly-fishing, deep-sea fishing, quad bike hire or simply lazing by the pool. There are also cruises available for those who would like to see more of the river delta and it's wildlife. The resort has its own landing strip for the convenience of guests with private planes.
